Our target is Indonesian youngsters, both male and female, ranging from 18-35 years old which have high enthusiasm in culture, and describe their fashion as simple yet explorative.

We have 2 competitive advantage, which are design and process
We're differentiating from our competitors by focusing on simple products that can be used for daily-wear instead of formal or occasional-fashion. The design itself differs from the others by utilizing patch in almost every products we're trying to deliver. Secondly, in terms of production process, we are committed to always keep local batik artisans close to us by involving every products with hand-drawn Batik (or known as Batik Tulis) as aligned with our goals, which is integrating the soul of Batik into our daily lives without losing its true value.
Who is your competition? Is there a competitor that you admire most? If so, why?
We have several competitors running in the Batik industry, two of them that we always look up to are Bluesville and Sukkhacitta because they have proven themselves that they can survive and even success in this industry while maintaining the cultural values in their end-to-end process. Additionally, both of them are confident that their products are sustainable, which we always dream of will achieve in the future.

Namaka is a social brand that rejuvenates Batik Culture in younger societies. Founded in 2021, we are heartfully committed to creating meaningful products with a goal of integrating the soul & life of Batik into our everyday life by introducing innovative and modish ways to wear Batik without losing its true essentials. #FortheCulture
